Beyonce speaks out about marriage to Jay Z

Beyonce has spoken publicly about her marriage to Jay-Z for the first time, and admitted that she and the rapper began dating when she was still a teenager.

“I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we first started dating,” the 27-year-old singer revealed. “There was no rush. I really don’t believe that you will love the same thing when you’re 20 as you do at 30.”

“Before the age of 25, I would never get married, feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself, and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else.”

The couple married at Jay-Z’s New York apartment on April 4 2008 but this is the first time Beyonce has spoken to the press about their nuptials. Beyonce also said she does want to have babies and become a family, but this is all to come – possibly in a few years.

Britney speaks out about her struggles over the past two years

Details are emerging from Britney Spears’ upcoming documentary on Sky1, which includes many personal revelations from the singer about her struggles over the last two years.

The troubled star admits she regrets her marriage to Kevin Federline, the pair were engaged just three months after they met which Britney had now admit was far too soon, and they then married in September 2004 and separated two years later, after the birth of their two sons.

“I think I married for the wrong reasons, Instead of following my heart and doing what made me really happy, I just did it for the sake of the idea of everything.”

The mum-of-two also made the shocking admission that she finds her life harder than a jail sentence: “Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.” A very strong comment which maybe we should all step back and think about, living in the limelight is not always great fun.

“There’s no excitement, there’s no passion,” Britney said. “I have really good days, and then I have bad days… If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening.”

Beyonce reveals breakdown fears

Beyonce has revealed that she was on the way to having a nervous breakdown when she was in her teens. The star singer has revealed that years ago she is certain she was heading towards a breakdown -

“Years ago, I was definitely headed for a breakdown, Just way too much work – my life was my career and I had no other life. It started when I was 15 and I hadn’t learned the importance of balance, making sure I took a day off. I didn’t know what ‘no’ was, what boundaries were.”

“At this point, I know that after a certain amount of time I have to go home,” Beyonce continued. “I know what I like now. It just takes life experience to get a good balance. When you’re young, you don’t know what relaxes you.”

Beyonce has been in the music business since the young age of only eight, when she joined the girl group Girl’s Tyme. The group went through many line-up changes before becoming Destiny’s Child in 1993 and the band had their first major hit, No No No, when Beyonce was just 17.

A child starlet experiences fame, adoration and a bulging bank balance before the age of 16. Sound familiar? No, we’re not talking about Britney, we’re talking about girl-of-the-moment Miley Cyrus – star of Hannah Montana and the highest-earning teenager of 2007.

Fifteen-year-old Miley Cyrus was the world’s highest earning teenage star in 2007, netting a flabbergasting $18.2 million. She’s the star of Disney sitcom Hannah Montana, the number one TV show for pre-teens in which she plays, erm, ‘Miley’, a normal teenager with brown hair, and ‘Hannah Montana’, a pop star alter-ego who has blonde hair.

Young Miley is also a pop singer and a record-breaking one at that – seven songs from her first soundtrack album were in the US top 100 singles chart simultaneously (a feat unequalled by either Elvis or the Beatles, who only managed three).
Also flying off the shelves are Hannah Montana computer games, Hannah Montana DVDs, Hannah Montana make-up, Hannah Montana wigs, and Hannah Montana towels – just a handful of the goodies on Disney’s golden Hannah Montana merchandise conveyer belt. And, despite her tender age, Miley is already penning an autobiography set for release in 2009, for which she will pocket over $1 million.

Why Brad Pritt and Jennifer Aniston never had children…

There’s been much speculation over the years why Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston never had kids when they were together.  It was believed to be Jen who didn’t want babies because she was focused on her career but Brad did want a family and that’s what ultimately drove them apart.  However, that’s not quite the way it went down….

There was possibly another woman in Brad’s life, even before Angelina came into the picture and while he was still with Jennifer.  In 2003 Pitt attended a Vanity Fair party in Los Feliz, California – alone – that is, until he reportedly went off with an attractive lady.

An insider said that Brad began getting flirty with a sexy party planner and then the pair disappeared together.  Jennifer’s best friend, actress Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette were at the same party, and they wondered where Pitt had gone off to.

Rumors then got back to Jennifer and it made her rethink starting a family with Brad.  She wanted to and he was pushing for it but she wasn’t sure she could trust him.  The source said, “She held off on having kids because she wanted to wait until she was sure Brad wasn’t being unfaithful.”

Celebrity Baby Boom!

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy have become the latest stars to welcome a son, after the 24-year-old singer who is also the younger sister of Jessica Simpson gave birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz on November 20.

Celebrity mums who’ve also welcomed boys recently include  Louise Redknapp  who gave birth to her second son, Beau  Henry, on November 10. “Mum and baby  are healthy and  looking forward to getting to know each other,” a friend told  reporters outside The Portland Hospital in London. Louise  and husband Jamie are  yet to announce a name for their son, a little brother to Charley, four.

Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley welcomed a daughter, Coco Lux, on October 26. Jo and husband Steve Morton have three other children, India, Jude and Cassius. Jo enjoys referring to herself as a ”baby machine”.

Ex Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien gave birth to a girl, Scarlett Jacqueline, with her former on-screen husband, Ryan Thomas, on October 26. Reports state that Tina jumped on a trampoline in a bid to induce labour; the baby was a week overdue!

Cheryl Cole is fuming over X Factor rows

Cheryl Cole is now the darling of Saturday night TV and her career has gone stratospheric and life should be just perfect for the girls aloud singer. But Cheryl is not happy – she is actually fuming. She’s sick of the sideswipes, squabbling and egos which threaten to overshadow the show she cares so much about.

In a blistering attack, Cheryl says the X Factor is not about her, Dannii Minogue or Louis Walsh. It’s not even – gasp! – about Simon Cowell.

In a recent interview, she rages: “It’s really p***ing me off. This isn’t about me, Louis, whatever. No! None of the judges are going to win it. People don’t vote for the judges. They vote for their favourite contestant.” Cheryl added, “Of course, if one of my girls wins I’m going to go through the roof. But not because I’VE won. And I promise you I’m going to make damned sure one of my girls wins.”

Fighting talk from X Factor’s newest judge. But with Geordie Cheryl’s own experience on Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002, it’s little wonder she feels so passionate.

Diana Vickers and Alexandra Burke are Cheryl’s remaining acts since Laura’s exit a fortnight ago and she’s determined that neither of them is going anywhere.

She says: “No one else on the panel knows how it feels to be stood on that stage. They don’t understand what it’s like to be so young and have 12 million people watching you sing live every Saturday. What an immense amount of pressure.”

Simon Cowell sticks up for Dannii Minogue

Simon Cowell has took Louis Walsh to task for making fellow judge Dannii Minogue cry on TV. Dannii was left in tears after Louis attacked her for ‘stealing’ a song he had wanted for his group JLS. The row had started on Thursday but spilled over into the live show.

Louis was furious after she refused to allow JLS to sing Take That hit Rule The World – because she’d earmarked it for her act, Rachel Hylton – who was later that night evicted from the show. Millions of viewers witnessed Louis say angrily to Dannii: “We’re all in it for our acts. We all care and I have to protect my acts as well, they wanted to do Rule The World from day one.”

Dannii sat staring straight ahead with tears welling in her eyes, unable to speak. Simon stuck up for Dannii, telling her: “Just picking up on what Louis said about nicking the song, we take it in turns and Dannii made absolutely the right decision, and if Louis doesn’t like it… tough.”

A source on the show said: “Things are getting very tense. Dannii felt she was being isolated on the panel and publicly humiliated.”

In recent weeks Dannii has tried – and failed – to build bridges with fellow judge Cheryl Cole. A well-placed source revealed: “Dannii fears that her days on the show could be numbered unless she can get back on side with the other judges. Recently she has been trying to get in with Cheryl by inviting her to lunch and suggesting nights out together. But Cheryl keeps making excuses.”
