Katie Price embarrassed her new husband on live TV yesterday, accidentally calling him her old flame, Peter Andre.

The glamour model, 31, was discussing plans for her second wedding ceremony during an interview on British TV show ‘This Morning’ when she referred to the couple as ‘mine and Pete.’

Realising her mistake, the mother-of-three quickly corrected herself, saying, “Mine and Alex…”

The slip up comes as no shock since the I’m a Celeb star went from Andre’s wife to cage fighter, Alex Reid’s wife in just nine months.

The pair married at a small ceremony in the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on February 2nd, and plan to repeat their vows in a wedding ceremony this summer in England.

Speaking on This Morning,  Price said, “Well because our family couldn’t be there, and the reason we got married in Vegas was because Alex proposed to me after his first fight – my first fight of seeing him- in September and we tried to get married at Christmas.

“And the only place we could get married was Vegas because you have to be divorced a certain amount of time to get married here, abroad, anywhere…so Vegas was the only place to go.

“We are doing like a blessing in the summer because we want all of our family there. His mum would like to see her son get married and my mum would like to see it again so…yeah we can’t wait.”

Price went on to say that her second wedding will be more of a private affair than her wedding to Andre in 2005, which saw the star turn up in a pink ballgown.

She explained, “We are both going to decide together and get our families involved, his mum, my mum, we’re all going to do it as a family thing-how really it should be done, not how other people tell you to do it. We’re not going to have a wedding planner, we’re literally going to do it ourselves.”

The couple are also planning a few other big things this summer including buying a house together and trying for a baby.

She said, “His fighter name is Reidinator so you know when you say pregnated (sic) so like I’ve been Reidinated…So we are trying for a baby. I can’t wait. Yeah, I can’t wait.”

Katy Perry is said to be planning a church wedding.

The ‘Hot and Cold’ singer has told her British comedian fiance Russel Brand that she wants to marry in a church close to her Los Angeles home, turning down his suggestion of a recording studio at the Sunset Marquis Hotel.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper, “Russell has been visiting the hotel for years and it is steeed in Rock n Roll history

“It is in the middle of West Hollywood but it has beautiful gardens and you feel like you are in some kind of tranquil paradise.

“Katy was keen but when it was suggested they could have their blessing in one of recording studios she put her foot down.”

Katy’s parents, Mary and Keith Hudson, are Christian pastors and “would be crushed if she didn’t marry in a church,” the source added.

Although his idea was crushed, Russell 34, originally wanted to marry in India, where the couple got engaged (31.12.09) said he wasn’t too upset by the idea and would do anything for Katy, 25 to help her have her dream day.

The source added, “Russell said she can have whatever she wants as long as his mum is there.”

Hollywood is famous for its movies and glamour and equally infamous for its many, many shocking scandals. Counting down all the Hollywood scandals is almost a leviathan task however here are some of my picks.

1. It would be a sin not to begin with Michael Jackson whose whole life has been nothing short of a scandal. The King of Pop, a well deserved title, and Hollywood’s very own Peter Pan has been no stranger to controversy. From a peculiar affinity to sharing his bed with minors to disfiguring surgeries, from an abusive childhood to his recent tragic demise, the moonwalking superstar has been erased literally and figuratively. In 1993 he faced charges of child molestation which was settled out of court for a whopping $15 million and landed up in court once again in 2005 for the same charges. The recent death of Jackson caused even more controversy as the superstar’s addiction to prescription drugs was exposed. His physician Dr. Conrad Murray has been held responsible for his death and charges of involuntary manslaughter are to be brought up against him.
2. Roman Polanski, the critically acclaimed and Oscar winning director, is no stranger to scandal. His pregnant wife, Sharon Tate, was murdered by the Manson family in 1969. In 1977, the then 44 yr old Polanski took a 13 yr old girl to Jack Nicholson’s house for a photo shoot. He plies the girl with Champagne and part of Quaalude before engaging in non-consensual sex.  Two weeks later, Polanski found himself in front of the grand jury. Upon hearing he could face jail time of 50 years, Polanski bolted for France. Of course, that did not stop Hollywood from bestowing him with an Oscar award for direction for The Pianist. He was not able to receive it though since he is barred from entering the U.S.
3. Ingrid Bergman, the Oscar winning iconic actress who was considered to be a devoted mother and wife shattered her impeccable image in 1969 when news of her affair with Italian director Roberto Rossellini got out. Rossellini, then married and Bergman, mother of a 10 year old daughter became pregnant with his child. What followed was intense public condemnation and religious groups calling to ban her movies. The then Senator, Edward Johnson, denounced the actress as “a powerful influence for evil” and went to the extent of asking for banning her from the country for “moral turpitude”. The couple however wed after Rossellini gave birth to their child and had twins later before separating in 1956. Rossellini did however lose custody of her daughter with her previous husband during the divorce proceedings. All was forgiven when she received the Oscar for the best actress in the movie Anastasia.

Another one of the grossest and most famous scandals is probably when Woody Allen married his ex wife, Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter Soon Yi. Perhaps what these scandal’s say about Hollywood is that no matter what your crime is that as long as you rake in the money, people can learn how to forget.

Joel Madden has denied reports he has married Nicole Richie.

The Good Charlotte rocker – who has two children, 21-month-old Harlow and six-week old Sparrow with the reality star- has denied reports that the couple wed in a secret ceremony.

He said on his band’s website, “I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.”

It was reported last week that the pair had secretly tied the knot in an intimate service after obtaining a marriage licence.

And the speculation started when Nicole and Joel registered Sparrow’s birth.

Nicole, 28, has previously said she was keen to wed rocker Joel, 30, following the death of her ex-fiance, DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, in August.

Meanwhile, she has spoken of her joy at adding to her family and say’s she has never been so content.

Nicole said, “I couldn’t be happier. The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are. I am right where I belong.”

Peter Andre has made claims that Katie Price stopped him from speaking to his children for five days.

The ‘Behind Closed Doors’ singer has spoken out following recent reports that Pete got into an argument with Katie’s new boyfriend Alex Reid, claiming he only lost his cool as he was refused access to the three children he raises with the glamour model.

Explaining his anger that Alex posted details of the conversation on Facebook, Peter said, “What really annoys me is when something private happens, withing a minute, it is out there. The bottom line is, for five days I was not allowed to speak to my kids.”

Referring to Alex as ‘this man’ Peter then explained the details of the phone conversation.

He told UK daytime TV show This Morning, “Anyone close to me knows that I couldn’t speak to them and then on Tuesday night (13.10.09) I got on the phone saying, ‘I want to speak to my kids. I was handed the phone to this man who said ‘he’s the man of the house now’ and he refused to allow me to speak to my children.

“Now, I am not perfect, I am human, I am a father and I don’t know any father that would not react to some man saying ‘no, you are not speaking to them’ and I lost my temper. I admit it.”

Peter accused Alex of playing a ‘ridiculous game’ by barring him from talking to Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two year old Princess Tiaamii.

He explained, ”I am tired of it, I just want to move on in every sense of the word. The kids are my life, I don’t care about anything else but them-I have that a million times, and everyone knows the only way to push my buttons is not to let me speak to my kids or see them and that is what’s been happening.”

It had been claimed that Peter rang Katie’s mobile to speak to the children, but she asked Alex to answer the call.

As Alex began shouting at Peter, the singer replied, “Look mate, there is a lot of people who want to break your legs.”

In response Kate has spoken out about Pete’s claims insisting that Peter’s version of the events are untrue.

She wrote on her Twitter page, “People got it wrong AGAIN, peter said IM GONNA BREAK YOUR F***ING LEGS watch your back >>nice pete in front of kids!

“I called him too speak to kids being nice…his true colours are starting to come out thank god !!

“Alex is calm a real gentle guy stop believing what you read and realise that pete is not the sweet guy that he always portrays (sic).”

Katie Price has claimed that estranged husband, Peter Andre, doesn’t really love his stepson.

The glamour model-whose divorce from the pop star will be finalised this month- is furious he has written a song about seven-year-old Harvey, entitled ‘Unconditional’ as she doesn’t think it represents the truth.

Price- a.k.a Jordan – let off her steam in Heat magazine, saying, “He only chose to see him two nights every two weeks and that is not unconditional love.”

Pter, 36, took on Harvey-who realy dad is soccer star Dwight Yorke- when he and Katie, first got together and has always regarded him as his own son.

Katie and Peter went on to have two children, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, before splitting in May this year.

Katie-who is now dating cage fighter Alex Reid- also revealed Pete has changed his mobile number so she can no longer contact him.

Katie, 31, said, “Pete told me two days ago that he is changing his number so I can never contact him again. He has got a phone for the kids, si when I have got the kids, he phones on that. When he has got the kids, I have to phone it too. Which I think is stupid of him because if the kids even have an accident, I have no one else to call.”

Reese Witherspoon is engaged.

The ‘Monsters Vs. Aliens’ actress has fuelled rumours she is set to tie the know with partner Jake Gyllenhaal after she was spotted flaunted a gold band on her wedding finger.

A source said, “Reese looked delighted and she was definitely showing off the ring. She kept holding her finger up for people to see, she even flashed it around when she was getting into her car.”

A photograph taken by X17O revealed the stunning band made up of three interlocking strips of gold, two of which have solid baubles on them. A small golden star is stuck to the top strip and sits against Reese’s finger.

Neither Reese or Jake’s representatives have commented on the reports.

This is not the first time it has been reported the couple-who began dating in 2007-are planning to marry.

However, earlier this year, Jake was spotted ring shopping in New York.

In March, it was claimed Reese removed the sparkly band during a photo shoot as she didn’t want people to know she was planning to walk down the aisle.

A source said at the time, “It was gorgeous, and everyone noticed it right away. But she took it off as soon as she saw people staring. Reese stuffed it in her bag and didn’t put it on again the rest of the day.”

Prince Harry and Chelsy’s appearance in the same London nightclub until early hours of the morning this weekend runs with the recent reports by hellomagazine.com that the pair are back on.

Prince Harry, who celebrates his 25th birthday on Tuesday, was joined by the pretty Zimbabwean law graduate and her brother Sean at Raffles.

Fellow party goers reported that the pair looked very cosy together on the dance floor. 

Chelsy and her brother left for her home in Chelsea at 3.20am-ten minutes before the royal, who returned to his residence in the capital Clarence House.

The pair attempted to not be seen together, however it was clear their deep attachment to each other remains.

“I don’t think they are ready to go public with their relationship just yet, but Harry and Chelsy are having a great time getting to know each other again,” a source tells this week’s HELLO!

The pair split almost eight months ago after Chelsy dumped him over Facebook.

A source told The Mail on Sunday, “Harry and Chelsy are back on, but they are keeping things very low key. They want to take it very slowly and are determined to keep things quiet.

“Chelsy in particular find the media attention when she is with Harry very hard to bear. They don’t want any pressure and have decided to keep the news very much between themselves.

“You certainly won’t see them out clubbing together, but they have been meeting up in secret over the past few weeks to talk about their future and whether they actually have one. Harry has missed Chelsy hugely and is desperate for things to work.”

It was reported that Harry was dating Sky Sports presenter, Caroline Flack but a friend insisted, “Harry has had a few flings, but they have not been serious. He still holds a flame for Chelsy, but they both have to figure out whether the relationship can work.”

Paris Hilton and Cristiano Ronaldo have vowed to make their long distance relationship work.

The Hilton heiress and the football star spend hours kissing in a Los Angeles nightclub last Wednesday (10.06.09) have promised each other that they will remain faithful to each other while Paris is in Dubai filming her new TV show and he is in America.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, “He is really taken by Paris. It could be something big. Paris had to go to Dubai with work, and that will test how serious they are about each other.

“There is a feeling that neither needs the other one’s money, which is a breath of fresh air for the pair of them-they are normally on the lookout for gold diggers. They have pledged to keep in touch and have been texting each other all the time.

“Fortunately Paris understands that every time Cristiano is pictures with another girl, he is not being unfaithful. It will be very interesting to see what happens.”

Cristiano’s mother, Dolores Averio has reportedly spoke of her disaproval of her son’s new socialite lover.

The source added, “She is not every mother’s ideal daughter in-law. She is not too happy with Cristiano falling for her, but she knows he is a grown man so will let him make his own mistakes.”

Paris, 28, and Cristiano, 24, stunned onlookers when they shared a series of passionate kisses at MyHouse club last week. After hours of kissing, the randy pair left together at 3am, driving straight to Nicky Hilton’s nearby home in West Hollywood.
