Charlotte Church says don’t be silly, to rumors that she and Gavin Henson are set to get married this summer, despite of rumors earlier this year that the singer-and-presenter and her rugby player lover – who have just welcomed second child Dexter Lloyd and also have 16-month-old daughter Ruby – were planning their nuptials and are keen to have the ceremony in their native Wales.

Gavin had promised her they’d get married after the new baby was born. So far the couple have avoided the issue of marriage because it will involve such a big wedding and so much organization and they’ve always been too busy to get it together.

When asked about a possible marriage this summer Charlotte said,”I think the marriage rumours were just started by a bored journalist – it’s absolute rubbish. I’m sure I will be 50 by the time we get married. We’ve been a bit busy child-bearing.”

Gavin’s comments on the marriage subject was: “We will get married one day, I just don’t know when. Maybe when these two are walking, then they can walk down the aisle.”

Charlotte Church has named her newborn son Dexter Lloyd Henson, her spokesman has confirmed, Charlotte, who is a singer and a presenter, gave birth to Dexter who is her second child with rugby star Gavin Henson on Sunday. 

The 22-year-old was at home in the Vale of Glamorgan in south Wales with Gavin for the birth of Dexter. Charlottes website said: “In keeping with Henson family tradition, Dexter will also have the name Lloyd as a middle name.”

Dexter weighed in at 7lb 5oz and both mother and baby are doing fine, a statement said previously.

Cardiff-born Charlotte gave birth to the couple’s first child, 6lb 10oz Ruby Megan, in September 2007. She and Gavin Henson, 26, announced her second pregnancy last March.

The couple have been together for four years but have said that they do not plan to marry “any time soon”. But it looks like this baby won’t be the couple’s last. Speaking on the Jonathan Ross show last year Charlotte said she wanted at least six children, while Gavin wants eight.

She said: “I want all my babies by the time I’m 32, so then I can have everything done.”
