Black Eyed Peas’ famous singer Fergie and her fiancé Josh Duhamel decided to host a joint stag and hen party in preparation for their wedding which took place on January 10th. And the joint stag and hen do was a fantastic celebration of all the friendships surrounding their marriage. The A-list couple invited 75 friends to the new Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, where they feasted on Kobe beef sliders, tuna tartar and shrimp skewers before dancing to ’80s hits.
Josh and Fergie usually spend so much time away from each other, so they wanted to make this week special and spend as much time together as possible and they certainly succeeded in that! They decided to have a joint bachelor and bachelorette party and have their friends mingle and get to know each other before the big day.
Good for them, I think having a joint party is much more in keeping with the whole idea of marriage rather than celebrating ‘one last night of freedom’ on separate nights out. Perhaps they will start a new trend and we’ll all be having ‘Hag’ parties?!
The American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and Emmy Award-winning American actor and former fashion model Josh Duhamel proclaimed “I do” at a lavish star-studded wedding on January 10 in Malibu, Califronia, and are believed to be heading to the Bahamas for honeymoon.
Duhamel, 36, and Fergie, 33, dated for over three years before announcing their engagement in December 2007. The couple share a 2.5 million pounds home together in Los Angeles and Fergie recently said she feels that they are already married!
