Former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell admits to being insecure when it came to her looks and figure, but after having her daughter Bluebell, she’s changed for the better.  Plus, she wants to set a good example for her little girl, and this would not be done by having a frail, thin body image like she did in the video for “its raining men”.

Geri who is 36 has said, “In the past, I always had my hang-ups, believing I wasn’t pretty enough, or a good enough singer, or thin enough.”

“But now I’m much more accepting of myself.  A lot of my body issues have naturally settled down.”

Geri does not work out anymore and no longer has a strict diet or gym routine as she used to, Geri used to spend almost two hours each day in the gym at one point, this is because she doesn’t want sacrifice any time she can spend with Bluebell.

The mum-of-one admits to having eating issues.  “I have a history of eating disorders but, as a mother, you think of being an example to your child.  I’m so much more balanced than I was.” And lets hope that this is true for the sake of her daughter, as a daughter always looks up to her mother as her role model, especially through teenage years when eating disorders are most apparent.

Geri Halliwell isn’t specifically known for her good fashion sense, but i think we all thought she had far more taste than what she was wearing to the Children’s Bafta’s

There’s really not any public function where it’s a good time to have a wardrobe malfunction but it’s probably more horrifying if it’s at a children’s benefit event, where you would think most attendees would wear suitable and respectful clothing due to the amount of young children around… 

Geri Halliwell was looking demure in her frilly red dress and soft curls, however, when the former Spice Girl turned around, it was another story.  Do celebs not plan well to wear suitable undergarments – especially if they are going to have them on show!?

Geri was attending the Children’s Baftas which celebrates the best in children’s entertainment – everything from movies to video games – when she turned around, and her ‘assets’ were on display. Hopefully Geri noticed her faux pas before any of the kids got a peek at her bum. 

Geri has recently launched her career as a children’s author.  She has one daughter, 2-year-old Bluebell Madonna, who is an adorable tot, lets just hope she doesn’t pick up her mum’s fashion sense when she is older.

Former Spice Girls and UN ambassador Geri Halliwell has attacked her former bandmate Victoria “posh spice” Beckham’s love of plastic surgery.

The former pop-singer claims her figure is entirely natural and thinks that women who are surgically enhanced, like ‘Posh’ who has had a boob-job, are “weird”

She said: “I would never say never to having plastic surgery but at the moment, I don’t like the idea of it. I’ve seen a lot of people who have had a lot of surgery and they look weird.

“They all look the same, as if they have morphed into one.

“I haven’t even had Botox. I don’t want to feel the pressure, to maintain a smooth line-free face and perfect breasts.”

However, Ginger Spice admits she’ll probably have surgery anyway, so what the point of her outburst was is beyond me. All she’s done is p####d off the Wife of footballer David Beckham.

She added to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “There are days when I look at myself and think, ‘You should have that done’, but I am trying to resist it. There’s something inside me that recoils from it that says, ‘You are 35 and you’re not going to be in this industry all the time.

“You need to work on the inside so that shines through first.’”
