Sex and the City girls getting on fabulously well!

SATCDespite reports that the SATC ladies are at each other throats behind the cameras, cast and crew on the set are getting on famously well and are really bonding.

The foursome reunited earlier this week on a New York Set ready to start the filming of SATC2, and the warmth between the stars was as clear as day.

Leading actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis were seen hanging out together between takes and thoroughly enjoying each others company.

And the affection between the girls off-screen was echoed when the quartet filmed a reunion scene outside Luxe Manhattan department store, for which they transformed from their casual wear into glamorous frocks and killer heels.

In fact there was no sign at all of the reported cool atmosphere between Kim, who plays feisty man-eater Samantha Jones, and Sarah who plays journalist Carrie Bradshaw.

The two stars were believed to have fallen out during pay negotiations for the last film.

The first SATC film received a massive box office success and SATC 2 is expected to be a huge hit when it released on the 28th May next year.

Nothing has been revealed about the plot, however rumours have circulated that Carrie’s marriage to Mr Big-actor Chris Noth- will run into trouble when he suffers from financial problems because of the economic crisis.

Other rumours have suggested that the pair might have a baby together after a number of British stars-including Victoria Beckham and Katie Price-reportedly auditioned for the part of an English nanny.

SJP: Reveals that her Mole has Gone

sjp-mole1

To quote Family Guy: “Sarah Jessica Parker – Her face looks like a foot”

But if reports are to be believed, it’s a mole-free zone, after she had her ‘trademark’ removed by surgery.

The Sex and the City star attended an all-star baseball game in New York, but her mole wasn’t. A mole on the inside (sorry) has said she had the operation done in secret but kept it quiet.

A slight blemish was visible on sarah’s face at the game, but its not clear whether she actually had the surgery or whether she just covered it with make-up.

She appeared on the pitch at the Yankee stadium with Sheryl Crow and baseball commissioner Bud Selig, in an effort to raise money for cancer research.

No stranger to the media, Sara’s mole has been under attack from critics before.

New York Observer writer Rex Reed said in his review of the recent ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’: “That growth on her face just gets bigger with every close-up, and in the full-length movie version of ‘Sex and the City’ it’s so distracting you can’t concentrate on anything else. It’s not a beauty mark.”

Sarah had previously claimed she’d never have cosmetic surgery, saying: “I believe in ageing gracefully, and of course, buying as many anti-ageing creams as possible.”

Rumours that her mole will be playing the monster in Cloverfield 2 are still to be confirmed.

SJP Not a Slave to Fashion

messup2Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP) claims she’s not a slave to fashion like her character Carrie Bradshaw.

In an interview, after the Berlin premiere of her upcoming movie, the 43-year-old actress said, “I am a mother, wife and working woman in the first place, clothes do not play such a big role in my life than they do in Carrie’s.

“And there is no favorite designer or accessory as there is Manolo Blahnik for Carrie — there are so many talented and exciting designers, I could not possibly choose one favorite.”

The Berlin premiere came about due to the enthusiastic fan-base of the HBO series in Europe – much to the chagrin of some of the star’s who believed it should have taken place in New York (where the movie takes place). The series ran from 1998 to 2004 and broke many barriers. Joining Parker on the red carpet Thursday night were co-stars Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

The movie begins in the present, with the characters older and more thoughtful than their younger selves. Carrie, now in her early 40s, is a contributing editor to Vogue and a best-selling writer. She’s got more money, and she’s also got Mr. Big (Chris Noth), her longtime love.

Talking about how the movie got off the ground, SJP said: “It took me a year and a half to put this movie back together again,

“I never in a million years thought I could. Our goal was to get the four women on that set. Lo and behold, we did and it was thrilling.”

“People are gonna be stunned, floored and happy,” the actress said of the plot. “They’re gonna be happy, surprised, feel a lot of sadness, and hopefully understand what it is that’s happened in Carrie’s life.”

With the plot of the film still under wraps, fans will have to wait until the movie opens to find out if Carrie ends up in wedded bliss with her man, Mr. Big. But Parker did reveal that fans should expect a grown-up movie.

The film was directed by Michael Patrick King and is bout finding ‘the happy ending’ – but apparently has some surprising twists. When asked about a sequel, SJP replied: “We have not discussed this.” “Sex and the City” opens May 30 in the U.S
