Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, who labelled Letitia “fat”, has praised her slimmed-down figure. When she appeared on the BBC’s hit dance series, he’d said: “Fat people can dance, but she needs to sort out her stomach and do more sit-ups.” Since then, the actress has lost two stone in weight and seven inches from her stomach.

Craig said, “She looks fabulous. It’s an amazing transformation and I’m thrilled she took my advice in such a positive way. People thought I was being cruel saying she needed to do sit-ups to strengthen her core, but actually I was just trying to be constructive and I’m delighted she took it on board and has got into such incredible shape.”

Letitia Dean, who is best know for her role as Walford’s Sharon Watts, weighed nearly 11 stone at her heaviest. She has now slimmed down to a size 6 to 8, weighing 8 stone 4 pounds, but she has not lost her famous curves.

She said: “My boobs are still huge although they have shrunk from a 39EE to a 32DD.” During the first few episodes of Strictly Come Dancing, she struggled to find her dancing feet. But like Albert Square’s feisty barmaid Sharon, she kept going.

Lisa Snowdon’s Mortifying Moment

Lisa Snowdon has described the moment she clutched her chest when partner Brendan Cole stormed off Strictly Come Dancing as “mortifying.” Brendan stormed off the show and Lisa reaction to this was her grabbing her boobs in a ‘im not bothered anyway’ manner.

The model and Capital Radio presenter, who was partnered with hot-headed Brendan on the BBC1 dance competition, named that moment as the most embarrassing of the series.

“Grabbing my boobs nervously a few weeks ago when Brendan stormed off. Mortifying!,” she said.

Lisa added that she would like to see her co-host Johnny Vaughan as a contestant on the next series, while fellow finalist Tom Chambers said he would like to Austin Healey – who got the Strictly boot a fortnight ago – back in the show.

Rachel Stevens joked that if she had won the competition she would sleep with the trophy on her pillow. But she came second to Tom Chambers in the final at the weekend, Rachel has said she has still fulfilled a childhood dream, but she has made a good friend in Vincent throughout their journey together.

Rachel Stevens Was Heartbroken For Not Winning Strictly

Rachel Stevens has admitted she was in floods of tears after losing the Strictly Come Dancing final to Tom Chambers. Rachel who is a former S Club star made the final two of the show, but added she suspected fans’ favourite Tom would come out tops.

“Everything was too much. I bawled my eyes out, I was a blubbering wreck,” Rachel has said. “My mum said, ‘You’re a winner to me, I can’t tell you how well you’ve done, you’ve inspired me.’ But I did stand there just thinking: ‘Please say Rachel and Vincent.’”

Rachel has said she had a sixth sense Tom would do it and win the final, as he has a massive fanbase out there and people love him. She said she knew he was always going to do it, but to win would have been the icing on the cake for Rachel as she adores Vincent and would have loved to have won it for him.”

Rachel also revealed that her fiance Alex felt uncomfortable about the pair’s rumba performance.

“The rumba was by far my favourite dance, but it was difficult for Alex to watch,” Rachel said. “He has been amazing. It has not been easy for him. I can’t imagine how I would feel.”

Tom Chambers Wins Strictly Come Dancing 2008

Tom Chambers and his dance partner Camilla Dallerup were crowned champions of Strictly Come Dancing 2008; Tom is an actor on Holby City and has improved greatly since the start of the show.

The result came as a shock as Rachel Stevens was the viewers favourite to win the competition, and after the viewers votes were counted Tom and Camilla came out on top ahead of Rachel Stevens and her dance partner Vincent Simone.

The grand final consisted of two parts of dancing, and the three couples that were in the final performed their best routines which they have performed through the series and Tom and Camilla ended up at the bottom of the leader board and they were then saved by the viewers votes and went through into the second part of the show.

Lisa Snowdon and her dance partner Brendan Cole were eliminated. They had received two perfect scores of 40 for their performances from the judges but did not get enough votes from the viewers.

That result then left Tom and Camilla to compete with Rachel and Vincent for viewers’ votes. Both couples danced a Viennese waltz. The judges did not score this section but they said both did well but Rachel’s technique was better.

The couples then performed freestyle show dances; Rachel and Vincent did a terrific routine with some spectacular lifts but were trumped by Tom and Camilla’s dance that was full of humour and cleverly a lot of preparation and hard work had gone into the routine.

A victorious and emotional Tom praised his dance partner Camilla and even left her to raise the glitterball trophy on her own before joining her in celebrating their success. Tom’s natural and spontaneous gesture along with his enjoyment and excitement of being voted through each week clearly played a part in attracting much more many votes than his rivals.
