Believe it or not, Jennfier Aniston, the ultimate ‘girl next door’, is GQ magazines nude cover for the month of January 2009, and what a fantastic way for the magazine to start the year!

Jennifer has also appeared in Vogue magazine in the last few months, making a controversial feature, and the nude pose photographs and article will be for sale on January. Jen is 40 years old and still looks amazing in the photographs, wearing nothing but a tie!

She looks amazing too—fit and sun kissed as always, but somehow in greater possession of herself and seemingly at ease with her age. Jennifer says, “I still can’t wrap my head around how old I’m going to be, I feel more comfortable today than I ever did in my twenties or early thirties. I’m healthier. I’m more at peace in my mind and with my body.”

Natasha Richardson’s family donate her organs

The family of British actress, Natasha Richardson have donated her organs, after her grieving husband and mother told doctors she would have wanted to save others.

The 45-year-old Parent Trap star was buried on Sunday, in Millbrook, upstate New York, after suffering fatal head injuries during a ski accident at Mount Tremblant resort in Canada on March 16th.

Her organs were carefully removed from her body by top surgeons at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital.

The decision was made quickly by husband, Liam Neeson, and her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, shortly after she was taken off life support in the hospital in New York.

It was reported by a family friend that donating organs to patients in need “is very Natasha.”

”She spent so much time fighting the stigma of Aids; someone like that would naturally donate her organs,” the friend said.

”At least by donating her organs something good could come out of (the tragedy).”

The actress died after falling during a ski lesson on to her head, while not wearing a helmet.

After a post-mortem examination, it was confirmed that the blow to her head had caused fatal bleeding between her brain and skull.

The actress leaves her husband, Irish actor, Liam Neeson and their two sons, aged 12 and 13.

Bernadette Sexton said her brother was left devastated and inconsolable after the love of his life was taken away from him during a freak accident.

“We’re completely bewildered and wish we could turn the clock back,” she said. “I’ve spoken to Liam but I’d rather not talk about it, it’s too personal.”

Paying tribute to Natasha, Bernadette said, “We spent last Easter with her and my 17-year-old son Pascal, who has Down’s syndrome, was much loved by Natasha.

“She went to great pains to include him in everything, even an Easter egg hunt. That just sums up the type of warm and caring person that she was.

“Natasha was a wonderful friend, sister-in-law and auntie to my kids. She was a warm, generous, lovely woman.”

Natasha’s mother is struggling to come to terms with the death of her daughter, telling Loretta Brennan Glucksman, chairman of the American Ireland Fund, Natasha didn’t like skiiing. “Vanessa told me, ‘Natasha is off skiing, I don’t understand it — she doesn’t even like to ski’. Vanessa is devastated.”

Stars close to the family have paid tribute to the actress, including Patrick Swayze, who is currently battling for his online with cancer, said, ““Gifts like her don’t come along very often. It’s a rare thing to have someone with so much talent, beauty and dedication — and yet such humility.”

On March the 19^th the lights of Broadway’s theatres were dimmed for a minute in Natasha’s honour.

What began so dreadfully has turned into a quite extraordinary year for Cheryl. Since joining the X Factor team she’s become the nation’s new sweetheart, charming viewers with her warmth, humility, steely commitment, tears, smiles and wit.

This week, in between photoshoots and filming, Cheryl and her bandmates launched a new education initiative with Canine Charity Dogs Trust and Nintendo. Nadine and Kimberley are appearing in Nintendo DS ads, and the scheme sees the firm donating DS consoles and copies of Nintendogs to Dogs Trust to take into schools.

Spending the day at Dogs Trust and seeing how many animals had been badly treated nearly set off canine-crazy Cheryl’s famous waterworks.

“People see a newborn puppy and fall in love with it. But they don’t have time to look after it properly. That’s distressing enough. But to see cruelty breaks my heart. Nintendogs is a great way to show people how much work is involved in looking after a dog.”

Cheryl has two dogs herself – Buster and Coco her two chihuahhuas, “I see them as my babies,” she says. “Sometimes I think I love dogs more than I love humans. I know they can’t talk back to me. But they express their personalities in other ways.”

“When I’ve been away for a couple of days Buster goes in a huff with me. He won’t run up and be happy to see me – he’ll give me a filthy look.”

Kelly was hired by Simon Cowell on a £200,000 contract to add glamour to the hit ITV show. The model and presenter, 29, was unveiled as a judge alongside Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.

However, after reviewing tapes over the weekend, show producers decided the new format with four people on the panel slowed down the pace of the show, and Brook paid the price. Kelly, who is dating rugby player Danny Cipriani, was said to be very angry over the decision.

However, as the first Manchester auditions wore on last week, it became clear that Brook was not suitable for the role. Kelly simply didn’t have what it takes. There have been a lot of tears and tantrums the past few days. Kelly came breezing in and Amanda, in particular, was very worried.

To be part of the Britains Got Talent team you have to think on your feet to come up with something good to say each time. It can be very tough keeping it fresh. Kelly struggled from the start. Simon and the producers tried to give her advice, but it didn’t seem to work. She got very stressed and upset as she thought people were having a go and that just made her more nervous.

“Grace was the closest person to Michael and the kids. She will be broken-hearted. The children were always their joint priority and like any couple they would row if they disagreed about how they were being brought up.

“But the different between Grace and other women in Michael’s life was that she had absolutely no interest in fame. It was something she actively avoided and Michael was determined to keep her and their relationship out of the public gaze.

“The romance was well-known among staff but it was made very clear to them that this was not something that should become part of the public domain.”

Grace began working as the singer’s secretary in 1991, was sacked and quickly reinstated several times by Michael during her stint and the children’s nanny, but was dismissed permanently in December and had quit America.

The singer’s will also stated that close friend Diana Ross should become their guardian if Katherine dies.

Reports in 2007 revealed that Michael and his nanny had married, but Grace was quick to deny the comments and state that she is still married to her first husband Stacey Adair.

And last night the glamour model became so scared she reported the rape attack to the police.

A close friend of Katie said, “She told me how he became violent towards her after not getting his way.

“At one point he had made a move for her throat. It sounded terrible.

“She told me about it a few years later. She said: ‘I’ve been with him, I know what he’s like.’ She told me in such a matter-of-fact way it was almost as if she had come to terms with the attack.

“She was measured and very calm.

“It was like she had been hardened up by what had happened.

“However at the time she was too scared to report it.”

Just yesterday Katie called into The Wright Stuff to speak to Matthew Wright and the panel who were discussing her rape revelation.

The controversial call to the TV presenter – who accidentally slipped up on the same show revealed it was John Leslie who raped Ulrika Jonsson a few years ago) revealed that she would never reveal the name of her attacker, until a few hours later in front of her film crew.

Everyone in the room was sworn to secrecy not to let Katie’s little ’slip up’ out, however the papers have already caught wind of the revelation and have confronted the alleged attacker.

The only information that the press have is that Katie was raped in her early 20s by a man she was casually dating at the time. One night the man allegedly became aggressive when she refused his sexual advances and raped her.

Katie Price said yesterday, “I don’t ever want to talk about it again.”

The Boyz Are Back in Town

untitled1 On Friday 19^th June I went to the Manchester Evening News Arena to see Boyzone on their Better 09 Tour. After seeing them on their reunion tour last year I was expecting to see something new from them, instead I got the same as last year but with a different stage set and costumes. They did add in the latest single Better and Ronan sang Time After Time from his current solo album Songs For My Mother.

They opened the show with Love You Anyway and then went straight into Picture Of You, at which point some very scantily clad female dancers made an appearance and even through numerous costume changes the dancers never wore much. They added in a couple of album tracks; And I and Must Have Been High.

Mixed in with all their old hits they did a medley of Queen songs which was possibly one of the better moments as it was something different to last years show. Stephen did a solo of Beyonce’s song Single Ladies, which was; quite frankly cringe worthy to watch. A very strange song choice and he couldn’t have made himself look more camp if he’d tried.

Towards the end of the show they were suspended above the audience and propelled over to a mini stage at the back of the arena. Life Is A Rollercoaster got them there where they then performed Words before being propelled back to Baby Can I Hold You.

They put a different theme to When The Going Gets Tough and A Different Beat when they went all army military complete with dance moves involving air rifles.

Overall the 2 hour show was good, I enjoyed it, but if they want to cement their return to the music industry they need to come back with some amazing new material and tour off the back of that, not off their hits from 10 years ago, good once for the reunion, slightly more boring for the follow up tour when you expect to see new material mixed in with the old.

Also seeing a bump was Insider Weekend (2.1 million and 1.4, up 17%).

Price to pay for Pete slip up

Katie Price embarrassed her new husband on live TV yesterday, accidentally calling him her old flame, Peter Andre.

The glamour model, 31, was discussing plans for her second wedding ceremony during an interview on British TV show ‘This Morning’ when she referred to the couple as ‘mine and Pete.’

Realising her mistake, the mother-of-three quickly corrected herself, saying, “Mine and Alex…”

The slip up comes as no shock since the I’m a Celeb star went from Andre’s wife to cage fighter, Alex Reid’s wife in just nine months.

The pair married at a small ceremony in the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on February 2nd, and plan to repeat their vows in a wedding ceremony this summer in England.

Speaking on This Morning, Price said, “Well because our family couldn’t be there, and the reason we got married in Vegas was because Alex proposed to me after his first fight – my first fight of seeing him- in September and we tried to get married at Christmas.

“And the only place we could get married was Vegas because you have to be divorced a certain amount of time to get married here, abroad, anywhere…so Vegas was the only place to go.

“We are doing like a blessing in the summer because we want all of our family there. His mum would like to see her son get married and my mum would like to see it again so…yeah we can’t wait.”

Price went on to say that her second wedding will be more of a private affair than her wedding to Andre in 2005, which saw the star turn up in a pink ballgown.

She explained, “We are both going to decide together and get our families involved, his mum, my mum, we’re all going to do it as a family thing-how really it should be done, not how other people tell you to do it. We’re not going to have a wedding planner, we’re literally going to do it ourselves.”

The couple are also planning a few other big things this summer including buying a house together and trying for a baby.

She said, “His fighter name is Reidinator so you know when you say pregnated (sic) so like I’ve been Reidinated…So we are trying for a baby. I can’t wait. Yeah, I can’t wait.”

Katy Perry is said to be planning a church wedding.

The ‘Hot and Cold’ singer has told her British comedian fiance Russel Brand that she wants to marry in a church close to her Los Angeles home, turning down his suggestion of a recording studio at the Sunset Marquis Hotel.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper, “Russell has been visiting the hotel for years and it is steeed in Rock n Roll history

“It is in the middle of West Hollywood but it has beautiful gardens and you feel like you are in some kind of tranquil paradise.

“Katy was keen but when it was suggested they could have their blessing in one of recording studios she put her foot down.”

Katy’s parents, Mary and Keith Hudson, are Christian pastors and “would be crushed if she didn’t marry in a church,” the source added.

Although his idea was crushed, Russell 34, originally wanted to marry in India, where the couple got engaged (31.12.09) said he wasn’t too upset by the idea and would do anything for Katy, 25 to help her have her dream day.

The source added, “Russell said she can have whatever she wants as long as his mum is there.”

These ten rising stars and ambitious Hollywood upstarts are the ones filling those shoes. From 50-year-old Austrian unknowns to 20-something American natives, this new wave of actors, actresses, and multi-purpose filmmakers are destined to be the big stars of tomorrow. Katrina Bowden

Known for her role as Cerie Xerox in NBC’s 30 Rock, Katrina Bowden has displayed more than just her great looks on-screen. Despite her relatively small role in 30 Rock, she’s managed to pick up major parts in three upcoming movies, and even a cool role in Fall Out Boy’s latest music video.

While it’s easy to write Katrina off as another Hollywood blonde barbie doll, there’s certainly more to her than meets the eye. This successful actress and model is known just as much for her fun on-screen quips and quick dialogue on 30 Rock as she is for her looks.

What’s a 54 year old Austrian TV actor doing alongside a bunch of 20-somethings? Christoph Waltz may not fit the age profile of most other up-and-coming Hollywood celebrities, but he certainly outdoes them when it comes to pure acting skill. After his incredible performance as Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 World War II epic Inglourious Basterds, Waltz picked up universal acclaim from the mainstream press, film critics, and Hollywood’s many awards ceremonies.

Despite his relatively late success, Christoph Waltz is no Hollywood slouch. The ultra-skilled polyglot and actor is on the radar for almost every major Hollywood studio, and is reportedly turning down offers like no one’s business.

Matt Czuchry

Gilmore Girls co-star Matt Czuchry is long overdue for his Hollywood breakthrough. A supporting character on the ultra-popular teenage TV show, Czuchry has starred in a range of low budget comedies, almost none of which have cracked into the major marketers.

However, despite his lack of major Hollywood successes, Czuchry possesses some acting chops that are destined to take him far. Kristen Stewart

After being “discovered” by a casting agent during an elementary school play, Kristen Stewart has grown to become one of young Hollywood’s most impressive acting upstarts. Her 2002 role in the David Fincher thriller Panic Room established her as a bankable child star, and her subsequent performances in teen hits Twilight and New Moon have made her a lasting performer.

22-year-old Ellen Page has been taking Hollywood by storm since age 18. After starring in a number of successful films, Page got her big break in the 2007 indie hit Juno.

Sam Worthington

This Australian actor was a virtual unknown until he was cast in the leading role in 2010’s biggest movie: James Cameron’s Avatar. Harry Potter stars in the Highest Paid List

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have recently been named as the highest paid actor and actress of the last year. So far both Daniel and Emma have starred in 6 installments of the Harry Potter series and there’s more to come. In terms of their net worth, Radcliffe tops the list and even features in the top ten being the youngest to do so. His net worth is estimated to be at approximately $60 million allegedly being paid $16 million for the fifth Potter film.

The 20 year old actor is however mulling over what his life will be like post the Potter series. According to fellow co-star and friend, Rupert Grint aka Ron Weasley, the real world seems scary. However, Radcliffe has proved his acting skills beyond Harry Potter and the list of successes can only be expected to increase. And if his splurges are taken into consideration, it doesn’t seem that Radcliffe is too concerned having recently purchased a $8 million home in New York. His property worth alone stands at $20 million now.

Emma Watson ranks below Radcliffe though her net worth stands at an astounding $24 million. Catapulting to fame when she played the role of Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter, Watson says that she may live to be a 100 years old but she will always be proud to be a part of the Potter franchise. Apart from the Potter series, this actress in now the face of Burberry and can be seen their 2009 Fall/Winter campaign while earning a six figure sum under this contract. This 19 year old actress states that she will be an “uncontrollable wreck” when the filming of the last Potter film is finished.

Apart from the Potter series, Watson has also starred in big screen projects like The Tale of Despereaux and Voice (2008). However, possibly the biggest news has been that Watson plans to give up acting in order to pursue higher studies. She is recorded to have said that she wants to be a “proper, proper nerd” and will be studying at the prestigious Yale University in the U.S. As explained to Interview magazine, Watson misses school life and plans to study English, History, Politics, Art and French.

The best Hollywood scandals

Hollywood is famous for its movies and glamour and equally infamous for its many, many shocking scandals. Counting down all the Hollywood scandals is almost a leviathan task however here are some of my picks.

It would be a sin not to begin with Michael Jackson whose whole life has been nothing short of a scandal. The King of Pop, a well deserved title, and Hollywood’s very own Peter Pan has been no stranger to controversy. From a peculiar affinity to sharing his bed with minors to disfiguring surgeries, from an abusive childhood to his recent tragic demise, the moonwalking superstar has been erased literally and figuratively. In 1993 he faced charges of child molestation which was settled out of court for a whopping $15 million and landed up in court once again in 2005 for the same charges. The recent death of Jackson caused even more controversy as the superstar’s addiction to prescription drugs was exposed. His physician Dr. Conrad Murray has been held responsible for his death and charges of involuntary manslaughter are to be brought up against him.
Roman Polanski, the critically acclaimed and Oscar winning director, is no stranger to scandal. His pregnant wife, Sharon Tate, was murdered by the Manson family in 1969. In 1977, the then 44 yr old Polanski took a 13 yr old girl to Jack Nicholson’s house for a photo shoot. He plies the girl with Champagne and part of Quaalude before engaging in non-consensual sex. Two weeks later, Polanski found himself in front of the grand jury. Upon hearing he could face jail time of 50 years, Polanski bolted for France. Of course, that did not stop Hollywood from bestowing him with an Oscar award for direction for The Pianist. He was not able to receive it though since he is barred from entering the U.S.
Ingrid Bergman, the Oscar winning iconic actress who was considered to be a devoted mother and wife shattered her impeccable image in 1969 when news of her affair with Italian director Roberto Rossellini got out. Rossellini, then married and Bergman, mother of a 10 year old daughter became pregnant with his child. What followed was intense public condemnation and religious groups calling to ban her movies. The then Senator, Edward Johnson, denounced the actress as “a powerful influence for evil” and went to the extent of asking for banning her from the country for “moral turpitude”. The couple however wed after Rossellini gave birth to their child and had twins later before separating in 1956. Rossellini did however lose custody of her daughter with her previous husband during the divorce proceedings. All was forgiven when she received the Oscar for the best actress in the movie Anastasia.

Another one of the grossest and most famous scandals is probably when Woody Allen married his ex wife, Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter Soon Yi. Perhaps what these scandal’s say about Hollywood is that no matter what your crime is that as long as you rake in the money, people can learn how to forget.

Harry Potter vs Twilight

There ought to be no competition here as Harry Potter is clearly the winner. No book or movie has created more hysteria than this. The world seemed to have turned upside down when the books were released exciting both kids and adults alike. And what can be said about Daniel Radcliffe? He’s a teenage phenomenon who has girls from practically every continent swooning. The same can’t be said for Robert Pattison a.k.a Edward Cullen though. He is popular no doubt but nowhere near Radcliffe in terms of fan base and that of course, should be credited to the role he played.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger) are easily the highest earning kids on the block. Coming back to the books, Harry Potter is by far ahead in the lead. It is a book with deep symbolisms and life lessons. It is about unity, standing up for your friends, for what is right and it is about the ultimate victory of good over evil. On the other hand, Twilight is nothing but a mindless romance between teens with no substantial message at all. It all revolves around a brainless school girl whom all boys seem to fall in love with, two of whom happen to be dangerous, mythical creatures.

Twilight is basically about a stupid girl without any personality whereas Harry Potter has very human, complex and believable characters. In terms of the movies, Harry Potter again scores better as it has amazing, exciting action sequences and can at times be scary too. Twilight’s saving grace is perhaps the hotness quotient of the male actors and the chemistry between Pattison and Stewart.

Of the latter could be alluded to the fact that there isn’t much to portray anyway excepting blank, mysterious expressions. The current box office also gives evidence to the fact that Harry Potter being the bigger grosser with The Half-Blood Prince already on its way to replace Twilight as the fastest selling in terms of advance ticketing. The 7^th book in the HP series is to be made in 2 parts which is understandable considering they need to develop the plot better. There’s so much to be included that no way can so much be packed into just 2 hours. In conclusion, considering all factors such as depth of plot, star power of the cast and box office success it cannot be denied that Harry Potter is indeed the winner in this battle.
